For a month that has had much hype surrounding it, I have not seen anything remarkably out of place in comparison to the other months. Perhaps the deities have made their point clear and are now choosing to let the citizens relax?

Work continues, as usual. Running a law office here has proven to be quite satisfactory. I'm mildly surprised, here I was informed that the City has no need for lawyers, but with three cases under our belt already and one in the works, I should say... one never knows until one tries, hm?

Though, I do wish to explore into a particular situation that has been bothering me for quite a very long time now. I only recently learned of a city-wide assault that had my dear brother in its grasp. To think such a thing could occur here at all, compromising the ways of the very deities that run this place.

I cannot say I am happy with learning that dear Klavier was poisoned and in pain in my absence. I suppose it will do well to arm oneself with knowledge of antidotes and the event in its entirety. Surely the masterminds behind such a grim deed have been dealt with.

The curses are indeed enough. There is no reason why innocents need to be harmed in ways they have no reason to be involved in.

Justice, as admirable as your choice in clothing is, I'd much rather prefer something with a hint of subtlety. This color draws far too much attention, you see.

A day for dressing up, City? I suppose reminding us that Halloween is just around the corner is a good way to lighten up people's moods from the stresses of their daily lives here. What kinds of costumes do people prefer here? Seeing as so many inhabitants are those from the fantasies of other worlds, one must wonder if the occasion becomes one where it is merely an excuse to don outfits they would not normally and add a bit of spice to their routine.

We are nearly complete with setting up our place of practice, which shall be known as Justice and Gavin Law Offices. I do hope our services will be welcome for those in the City. We strive to make sure we find the truth above all else, as we have done in our world. We hope to extend similar efforts towards you all as well.

What an odd day. I was asked what the secret to keeping my skin so perfect was, and someone else asked me if my hairdo could poke someone's eye out and if I'd tried to do so.

How very unpleasant. Are the minds of people so polluted with dangers that they cannot understand such things are not welcome thoughts to harbor?

( I seem to keep wanting to inquire after things today. Why, exactly, am I being affected while Justice seemingly escapes? Though this curse seems to be a lot more subtle in comparison to the rather inconveniencing ones.

It's been rather interesting to note how the distance with Prosecutor Edgeworth seems to have grown. A bit of an odd question to have at this time, but have people felt that they are being observed? I must say, it's been... rather worrisome, you know. I would not want to come under any harm, and in turn, harm those who are important to me. And I have not heard from my dear brother at all. I should like to look for him, what if someone has caused him harm? Or perhaps, he might have left..? But I have not heard from so many for days. I do hope Mr. Koizumi is doing well? I would like to know if things are going well for the rest of you, of course.

Though certain pests seem to be silenced. No wonder the City has seemed a touch peaceful these days.

Reading what all the others are saying compels me to wonder about the dynamics of such a place. This could certainly be used to my advantage.
